For admission into one of the top 10 NLUs, a general candidate must score 80-90 marks in CLAT. The cut-offs for Tier-2 and Tier-3 NLUs are lower. When taking into account past years’ cut-offs in terms of rank, the gap in the cut-offs of top 5-6 NLUs is not as great as it first appears.

CLAT (The Common Law Admission Test) is a centralised national-level entrance exam for admissions into most of the NLUs (except NLU Delhi and NLU Meghalaya). The date for CLAT 2025 has been officially announced by the Consortium of NLUs. CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on 1st December 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The registration for CLAT 2025 has already begun from 15th July, 2024. The form is available online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in .The last date to apply for CLAT 2025 is 15th October, 2024.

NLSIU is one of the top law schools in India, and it is difficult to get into. A general category student should at least get a score of 100 in CLAT UG for NLSIU. The anticipated CLAT cutoff for admission to NLSIU Bangalore in 2025 is a score of 90 or more. The quota students can expect certain relief in this cutoff requirement. 

The CLAT result and the CLAT counselling process together determine admission of a candidate into NLSIU Bangalore for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programs.

• To check your SNAP 2024 result, you will have to visit the official website- https://www.snaptest.org/ 

• You’ll then visit the portal, and enter your SNAP 2024 ID and password which was created during registration. 

• Upon logging in, your result will be displayed in a scorecard format. 

• Don’t forget to download this scorecard, and print it out for future reference.

The SNAP 2024 results will be declared on January 8, 2025.

GNLU Gandhinagar offers a 1 year LLM and a 2 year MBA in Financial Management & Business Laws at the PG level. 

LLM: The eligibility for admission to the LLM program at GNLU Gandhinagar is that the candidates must have an LLB (or equivalent degree in law) from a recognized university, with not less than 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST candidates). 

The LLM program is divided into two semesters. The Semester 1 curriculum is divided into 4 groups: corporate and business law, constitutional and corporate law, criminal and security law, and intellectual property law.  

MBA: The MBA in Financial Management and Business Laws is a 2-year full-time residential program to nurture the managerial and legal acumen of participants. 

The eligibility criteria for this program is that the candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or institute with a minimum qualification in OR with commerce, management, law, arts, science and engineering, except fine arts. Additionally, they must have passed their bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks. 

Yes, GNLU Gandhinagar offers a horizontal reservation of 25% of total seats (39 seats) for the candidates of Gujarat domicile. As for the Silvassa Campus, a horizontal reservation of 25% (15 seats) is offered for the candidates of DNH & DD Domicile. 

Candidates must pass the HSC/intermediate examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in the case of SC/ST) to avail this reservation.
