Overall, IIT Kanpur is considered one of the best engineering institutions in India and is ranked highly in national and international rankings.
For marketing, NMIMS Mumbai is better. It has a great faculty pool for marketing. As Mumbai houses many MNCs, it's easy to get good exposure and placement opportunities. For placement, major sectors come for marketing, i.e. FMCG, FMCD, E-Commerce, Retail, etc. During NMIMS Mumbai placements 2021, FMCD/FMCG/Retail sector offered the highest CTC of INR 25 LPA.
When my senior was a student at Azim Premji University, things were a bit different in terms of environment, pedagogy, and the way things were being taught then.
