Both the NITs are equally good. Though due to the rapidly growing corporate industry there is a huge demand for computer engineers or CSE graduates. It is considered the most preferred engineering course among others. Biotechnology unlike CSE does not have the same amount of popularity among students as well as professionals. But ultimately it depends on the students and their preferences.

Both these institutes witnessed the participation of 14 recruiters from different sectors of the industry and maintained the steady rate of highest and average CTC in every year.

MAIT is better than NIT Manipur. MAIT, being situated in Delhi, provides more placements opportunities regularly along with best coaching centres for higher education. 

NIT Manipur being a low ranked NIT, will not offer the suitable placements for its students apart from the NIT stamp, which is helpful in future abroad studies. So MAIT is an appropriate choice than NIT Manipur

DIAT Pune is one of the best institutes for pursuing marine engineering and imparting technical education for 60 years. The institute ranks 57th in the NIRF engineering rankings. Moreover, nearly 80% of placements are offered by the institute.

Jamia Millia Islamia ranks 27th as compared to NIT Manipur, which is 148th. Jamia Millia Islamia is located in Delhi that provides a lot more options for higher education, internship opportunities, etc.

The fees at Jamia Millia Islamia is also less compared to NIT Manipur. Therefore, Jamia Millia Islamia should be the 1st choice for pursuing ECE than NIT Manipur.
