Amrita University is a deemed university whereas SSN is an autonomous institute in Chennai, affiliated with Anna University. I have friends in both universities and according to their first-hand experience, Amrita has a slight edge over SSN. While both colleges offer good quality education, here are some reasons why you should prefer Amrita University.

Which is better, SSN or IIIT Dharwad for pursuing ECE?
SSN Chennai is a private university ranked 44th by NIRF(National Institute of Research and Framework) 2020.
