While DTU has impressive companies like Google and Microsoft visiting for placements, the competition can be tough, and the ROI might be higher at Jadavpur due to its well-established network and cooperative campus culture. If you're aiming for a solid tech job with potentially better internship opportunities, Jadavpur University could be the way to go.

• The faculty is well-educated, and you can verify their specializations and degrees on the Delhi Technological University website. However, in the mechanical engineering department, students often skip classes after the first two years, so attendance isn't a major concern.
• From a placement perspective, the current placement session has been successful for many students, with some securing two or even three job offers. If you keep your aggregate up, opportunities are plentiful!

I believe that NIT Trichy ECE is significantly better than DTU ECE. The number of placement offers doesn't fully reflect the value of a department. There are several factors to consider:

• Academic excellence
• Placement percentage (which is quite different from the number of offers)
• Quality of faculty

The faculty in the ECE department at NIT Trichy are among the best in the country, boasting substantial research experience. Additionally, the alumni network provides excellent support to current students in the ECE department. In light of these factors, DTU does not measure up to NIT Trichy.

P.S: A large number of students in a single department may lead to more placement offers, but that doesn't necessarily mean the placement percentage is comparably high.

Both DTU for B.Tech in Biotechnology and Jadavpur University for BE in Electrical Engineering have their strengths. Without a doubt, DTU takes the lead in this comparison. Not that Jadavpur University is lacking, but DTU consistently attracts top market players and boasts a strong alumni network.

The peer learning experience is also fantastic, with a diverse and talented student body.

• CSB and CSSS are relatively new branches.
• Quite a few companies have not allowed students from these two branches to sit for interviews.
• They even permitted ECE students to interview!

If you're interested in research in computer science, then IIIT Delhi is the way to go.
