IIT Delhi is indeed a well esteemed Engineering college in India. The best part about IIT Delhi is that it provides holistic development of the students rather than just focusing on academics. You get to explore and experience everything you can imagine in your life. You are able to multitask by the time you leave college.

The students here are not just academic geniuses but each one of them has a unique trait. Most students are all-rounders excelling in sports, academics as well as cultural activities. 

An added bonus is the close proximity to DU colleges which form a network of colleges and students clustered together. The IIT Delhi students actively participate among students belonging to diverse streams of knowledge. 

IIT Delhi's location is also a major reason why it is considered the best. While all other IITs are far from the city, IIT Delhi is located in the center of the city more importantly in South Delhi. This locational advantage brings tremendous opportunities in terms of placements and amenities.

The overall culture inside and outside the campus makes IIT Delhi a unique IIT in every sense.

FMS Delhi is better than IIM Kozhikode. It offers better ROI. According to the recent highlights of FMS Delhi placements, students receive an average CTC of around INR 32.4 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INR 58 LPA. 

FMS has a smaller batch size compared to IIM Kozhikode. So, it’s easier for students to get decent placements. FMS is older than IIM Kozhikode and hence has a larger alumni base. 

Both these premiere Indian institutes are academically at par with each other. But you should consider these points when choosing between the two-

1. JIPMER is located in Pondicherry and has no airport connecting it to metropolitan Indian cities. For the nearest airport, you’ll have to travel all the way to Chennai.
2. Pondicherry is much safer though. You can walk alone in the evenings without any fear.
3. JIPMER is much bigger than MAMC. Also, JIPMER provides top notch hostel facilities, at par with private colleges. Its campus is very well maintained as well.
4. The JIPMER campus is so huge that students use scooties and bikes to travel from one block to another.
5. MAMC offers more variety for North Indian meals. 
6. At MAMC, patients speak Hindi. At JIPMER on the other hand, Tamil is the dominant language. So there is some communication gap initially, but one learns to manage with time.
7. Delhi offers a better city life, more malls and better movie theaters. Pondicherry is a calm and serene place with beautiful beaches. There aren’t huge shopping malls and big multiplex theaters over there, but you’ll be mesmerized by its natural beauty. 

Both the colleges are equally excellent. You must choose between them based on your personal preference.

My friend is a PGPEX alumnus and claims that the program helped him double the salary he receives from his regular MBA. The ‘X’ in the program often is a source of hesitation for many prospective students ao it’s better the programs get the hype they deserve. 

As far as choosing between IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore is concerned, I would recommend you go for the latter. IIM Bangalore has a better placement scenario and also has common classes across the institute in elective terms giving you a wider peer network. IIM Ahmedabad on the other hand has a bit of a location disadvantage and the exposure offered is nothing compared to Bangalore.

I would place these institutions in this rank-

1. MIT (Main Campus- Manipal) 
2. VIT
3. SRM
4. KIIT

However, KIIT will overtake VIT and SRM because the academics and placements at this institution are getting better over the years.

As an alumnus of MIT, here are a few reasons why I have placed MIT in the top:

1. Top Engineering streams like CSE, IT, Mech, ECE, and EEE at MIT are as good as the NITs.
2. It has only merit-based seats and no management quota. On the other hand, in KIIT and other institutions, the majority of intake is from management quota.
3. The All India MU-OET exam brings in a good crowd at MIT. The campus life, faculty, and alumni are also great.
4. MIT has a decent placement record and a great campus life. During placements at MIT, I sat for 50 companies and by the end received 3 placement offers. Currently, I am working at TATA Motors.
5. If the high fee is not an issue for you, MIT is the best option after IITs, BITS, and top NITs.
6. People tolerate opposing views and the approach is more egalitarian at MIT.
7. MIT student has the distinction of being an undergraduate with the highest number of research papers in the country to his credit (22 research papers in 4 years).

Though KIIT is a good institution with improving academics and placements, I would say that MIT ranks the highest among the four.

If you are considering IIIT Bangalore and IIIT Allahabad for your undergraduate studies in computer science and information technology, there are several factors you should take into account before making a decision.

• IIIT Bangalore offers an iMtech program combining bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and engineering, while IIIT Allahabad offers a bachelor's program in information technology that can later be converted to a master's degree.
• IIITA is a government institute, while IIITB is based on a public-private partnership model.
• IIITA has a larger campus and lower fees, while IIITB has better-credentialed faculty and no reservations of any kind.
• Both institutes have great infrastructure, excellent placement records, and coding cultures, but IIITB has a higher ratio of students qualifying for the Google Summer of Code.
• IIITB is located in the heart of Electronic City, which houses major companies such as Siemens, HP, Infosys, and HCL, providing ample opportunities for internships and exposure.
• The course structure at IIITB is more rigorous, and the peer group is stronger due to no reservations. The focus is primarily on academics and coding, with secondary attention given to sports and cultural activities.
• IIIT Allahabad's course structure is less rigorous due to a mixed peer group. The student community focuses more on extracurricular activities in addition to academics and coding.
• IIIT Allahabad has a lower cutoff for admissions and more seats, resulting in a more diverse peer group.
• IIIT Allahabad has lower fees and is located in a city with a rich cultural heritage.

Before making a decision, it is essential to weigh the pros and cons of both institutes and determine which factors are most important to you. Consider factors such as city connect, peer group, course structure, focus on academics or extracurricular activities, and the environment that would help you thrive. With careful consideration, you can choose the institute that is the best fit for you and your goals.

Both NIT Warangal and NIT Trichy are prestigious engineering colleges that lie below the old IITs but above the new ones. Comparing two NITs, however, is tricky as each NIT has its own strengths and weaknesses. So rather than making a direct comparison I will mention the leading aspects of both the institutes

NIT Trichy

• The institute provided free unlimited high-speed WiFi.
• A hospital within the campus that takes care of the medical needs of the students free of cost.
• There are 22 boys' hostels in all and every floor has a TT room and a TV room with AC.
• A large number of canteens serving a variety of food run throughout the day and some even past midnight. 
• The hostel rooms are huge enough to seat 2 people and both students are allotted individual furniture
• Students are given permission to bring their own electrical appliances.

NIT Warangal

• NIT Warangal's internet facilities are somewhat poor and students are not allowed to bring routers. 
• An ambulance and a hospital within campus offer free-of-cost services to the students
• NIT Warangal hostels are one of the best in the country. The first-year students are allotted double occupancy rooms while second-year students are allotted triple occupancy rooms and single occupancy rooms for the rest of the year.
• NIT Warangal has mostly South Indian students so is a bit lacking in the diversity aspect.

Now let’s address the elephant in the room, the placements without which the comparison would be meaningless.

Based on the above table, NIT Warangal seems to have better placements. I will leave the rest for you to decide!
