How are the hostels at PGIMS in Rohtak?
The hostel rooms at PGIMS Rohtak is decent. First-year students are allocated single rooms. From the second year onwards choose between a single room, shared cubicle, or dormitory. The hostel rooms have enough space for a single person. There are balconies attached to the rooms. Washrooms are wall-maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Food offered in the mess is above average.
The environment on campus a peaceful and ideal for academics.
What are the benefits of doing an MBBS from LHMC?
My friend shared her first-month experience as an MBBS student at LGMC. The initial days were very gloomy because almost everyone who failed to make it to their dream schools landed in LHMC. Initially, you need to convert the 7-point CGPA to a 10-point scale.
If a person has a 5.53 CGPA on 7 point scale CGPA then - (5.53 * 10)/7 = 7.9, which is a 10-point scale CGPA
Now calculate the percentage - 7.9 CGPA * 9.3 (standard number used by companies that come for placements) = 73.47%

How good are the UIET Kurukshetra University placements?
One of my friends studied at UIET Kurukshetra University. According to him, it is a terrific institute that provides exceptional placement opportunities.
- The faculty here are highly experienced.
- Students of UIET are employed in the army, ISRO, BARC, and many PSUs.
- For CSE and ECE departments, the placement opportunities are offered to 50% of the batch. The major recruiter here is Infosys, offering an average package of 3.5 LPA.
- You can also try for off-campus recruitment or prepare for GATE.
- In the Biotech department, around 15% of the students receive placements in several startups. An average package of 3 LPA is offered.
If you are unable to get admissions in any of the IIT, NITs, IIITs, DTU, or in top private engineering colleges such as VIT, BITS then you may opt for UIET KUK without any further hesitation.
How is an M.Tech in artificial intelligence from IISc Bangalore?
The Artificial Intelligence course in IISc was earlier known as System Science and Automation (SSA). It was later renamed because the concepts taught in the course had relevancy in AI, Machine learning, Deep learning, Speech processing , NLP, etc.
The eligibility requirement for the course is B.E/ B.Tech in CS and selection for admission is based on the performance of the students at the GATE exam. The course fee is INR 1 to 3 lakhs. Most organizations teach the course in 3 months or 11-12 months or so. However, the M.Tech at IISc will comprise three semesters where the concept of AL is taught from scratch to advanced level. The course curriculum is designed to bring the students to the forefront of AI research and development. The department offers good infrastructure and it’s fully equipped with state-of-the-arts computational and experimental facilities.
Students of the course get employed for job roles such as Software Engineer, Robotic Scientist, Game Programmer, Computer Scientist, etc. The average salary offered is 2.5 to 10 LPA.

Suitability: This is most suitable for those who are completing the 3rd year only. However, it may also be suitable for 2nd-year students with exceptionally good academic performance.
Procedure:
- Apply for the internship.
- If you get selected for the first round., you will have to wait for the second round
- The second round is an Online Test. Take help from seniors during preparing for this round.
- You get selected finally once you clear their second round.
Write an email to the professor
This may sound like an ineffective technique to get an internship when in reality it’s the most under-rated, under-used tool for grabbing an internship abroad. But one must keep in mind that this method is not definitely easy as it depends on a number of factors. I have mentioned some tips that will help you get a clear picture of how to get an internship by writing an email to your professor.
- Don't lose hope after one or two emails go rejected
- Don't contact two professors in the same department
- Be specific about the area you want to intern in
- Start your internship hunting early
- Target the right country

The choice mainly depends on your son’s interest field. But I’m assuming his interest lies in CSE.

What is the placement scenario and scope of the IIM PGP Agri Business Management (ABM) program in general and with special reference to IIM Lucknow?
It depends on the other options available to you. ABM graduates are eligible for many of the marketing and operations jobs that normal PGP students are. Choosing an ABM at any of the top IIMs (including IIM Lucknow) is a better option than a general MBA from a tier 2 business school. Even if you take a drop for CAT, it will be a waste of your year. In an MBA, your college tag makes a big difference. In the long run, the IIM tag will benefit your corporate career a lot.
