How is AIIMS Nagpur?
AIIMS was established as a center for promoting excellence in all aspects of health and wellness programs all over India. It is a group of autonomous public medical institutes that are institutes of National Importance.
AIIMS Nagpur is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). The foundation of the institute was laid by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis.

It’s true that management consulting firms are finicky about the campuses they recruit from and even in top management schools these firms only interview the top 5-10% of the students. Though companies like McKinsey, BCG, etc. recruit from premier undergraduate colleges, for MBA they only hire from top-rated B-schools.
Why is the quality of BIT Mesra declining?
There are a number of reasons that have resulted in the deteriorating quality of BIT Mesra. Here are a few main reasons
- BIT Mesra follows a very obsolete curriculum that is not at par with current industry needs and trends.
- Students have to select electives as the faculty’s preference and not their own. This limits their exposure.
- A certain level of bias can be observed among the professors here who give special treatment to girls.
- The institute has poor management and even simple tasks like giving out a transcript become tiring here
These are some major reasons why the quality of education is slowly taking a fall in BIT Mesra. I really hope the institute takes care of these matters and helps restore its reputation.
How good is IMT Nagpur? What about average salary offered? And CAT cutoff percentile?
IMT Nagpur is among the tier-3 or tier-4 B-schools. The cutoff, pedagogy, peer group, and placements are nowhere near IMT Ghaziabad. According to the recent placement highlights, IMT Nagpur average package is around INR 10 LPA.
The required CAT cutoff is around 75 percentile. You can expect an interview call if you score 75+ in CAT.
How do I apply for a provisional degree certificate from VTU?
You need to apply for your provisional certificate online on the VTU website.
- Go to the VTU website, find the examination section and click on online fee payment.
- Fill out your details and select Provisional Degree Certificate for the type of fees remitted.
- Pay the fees, i.e. Rs. 400. After your payment is complete, you will get an acknowledgment stating that your payment is successful and you will get a transaction id. Note it down. Your payment receipt will be mailed to the email id you mentioned.
- Take a printout of the PDC application form. Fill it up. Submit the application form and a printout of the fee receipt to the regional office.
You will get your provisional certificate in one week. You will have to go to the regional office to collect the certificate.
Which is better - Manipal University, Amrita University, VIT or Sastra University for studying CSE?
Among these, Amrita University is better for studying CSE. It has a well-structured campus and offers decent facilities to students. Amrita University placements are good for CSE. Each year around 85% of students get placed through the campus drive. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 3.5 LPA - 35 LPA. Google, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. are among the major recruiters.
How do I get the original degree from Rajasthan Technical University?
I have a few friends from Rajasthan Technical University and according to them, it’s not likely that you will be able to get your original certificate directly from RTU Kota. It is supposed to be distributed by the college only.
So check with your college. If yours didn’t reach the college, then let them send a request to the RTU Kota office for the same and wait until then.
If it's urgent you can visit RTU Kota. Don’t forget to bring your original documents like provisional degree, consolidated marksheet, semester-wise marksheet, registration card, identity card, etc. You can also contact the number provided on the website. Although they hardly answer.
Is Jadavpur University better than ISM Dhanbad?
Both Jadavpur University and ISM Dhanbad are reputed institutes. ISM was already quite reputed across India and after getting the IIT tag, the institute has improved quite significantly.
- If you are getting branches like CSE/ECE at JU and offbeat branches at IIT ISM, then you should definitely choose JU.
- Another advantage of choosing JU is the negligible fee. For a 4 year long B.Tech you will need to pay only around 10,000.
So, take these factors into consideration, and choose according to your convenience.
What is the ideal GMAT score that I should aim for to get into ISB Hyderabad?
As per the 2021 admission trends, ISB Hyderabad GMAT cutoff was in the range of 580-780. Last few years’ selection trends indicate that having a GMAT score of around 710 should get you an interview call from ISB. However, having a score above 730 increases your chance of getting an admission letter remarkably.
On average how many students are placed in the campus placement of Jamia Millia Islamia?
On average, 100 students get placed in Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in the Engineering department every year.
If we look at the placement drive for 2020, a total of 257 students were placed. More than 52 companies participated in the placement program. The companies that recruited the maximum number of students are Microsoft and Deloitte. The highest salary package went up to 41 LPA.
