basically Amity has two admission buckets — non-sponsored (NS) is normal merit-based admission, and sponsored (S) is for students who don't hit the cutoff but still want in.
sponsored category means:
- eligibility bar is ~5% lower (55% PCM instead of 60% for BTech)
- fees are noticeably higher — around Rs.1.5–2L extra per semester vs NS
- same classes, same degree, same placements as everyone else
here's what most people actually wanna know — sponsored vs NS does NOT appear on your degree certificate. employers will never know. so career-wise it makes zero difference.
