I’m currently studying Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence, and the placement opportunities here are decent. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, with companies like TCS and Accenture visiting. The highest package I heard of was around 12 LPA, and the average is about 4-5 LPA. While the placement percentage is good, it does fluctuate depending on market conditions. I’m hoping to land a good position once I graduate.

How are the placements in Mahindra Ecole Centrale in Hyderabad?

KindlyKraken Posted On : February 24th, 2026

Campus placements for the Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] course at Mahindra Ecole Centrale seem to start in the last semester. I've heard that many students get placed well, with companies like Deloitte and JP Morgan visiting the campus. The lowest package is around 4 Lakhs per annum, which is decent.

However, since I’m still in my second year, I’m yet to experience the placement process myself. I’m planning to stay back for an honors degree after my third year and then take advantage of campus placements.

How is Kalyani Government Engineering College CSE ECE, if I am not concerned about the placement and I want to go for higher studies?

V
VelvetVolt Posted On : February 24th, 2026

I'm currently studying CSE at Kalyani Government Engineering College. From what I've observed, ECE students tend to score a bit higher on average than those in CSE when you look at semester grades. Both departments have a good number of students focused on preparing for higher studies like MS or MTech. If you ever find yourself needing help, the faculty and seniors are super supportive and willing to lend a hand.

When it comes to choosing between ECE and CSE, I recommend going with what you’re most passionate about. Both departments are quite similar in many ways, and it's really the students who make the difference. Make sure to thoroughly check out the curriculum and subjects for both, and pick the one that you find most interesting and worth dedicating your next four years to.

Hope this info helps you out! Welcome to KGEC!

Is IISER really worth it? I know the reality of how much we have to study, but my main question is about placement. Is a good package afforded or not?

F
FileFlamingo Posted On : February 23rd, 2026

There are several perspectives to consider about IISER. Let's explore some possibilities:

If you are passionate about science research and are determined to build a career in it, like pursuing a PhD and eventually becoming a scientist or professor, then IISER is a great choice.

If you are interested in science and want a degree from a well-known institute for your resume, which can help you in job interviews for top government roles, UPSC, State PSCs, or even getting into prestigious MBA programs, then it can also be valuable.

If you managed to get into IISER, enjoy research, but prioritize landing a well-paying job, then you need to consider your options carefully.

The value of IISER really depends on how you see your time spent there. The first scenario might be the most rewarding. Scenarios two and three follow closely. Ultimately, it's up to you to shape your career. IISER does have placement cells, but unlike IITs or engineering colleges, many companies might not come knocking due to job-candidate fit issues. However, if you can show you're the right fit for a job, you can still get hired. Keep in mind that after five years at IISER, not everyone may enjoy the corporate world, working long hours like a machine every day.
