The main thing is that you must decide why do you want to join IIT. Is it only for the IIT tag, or you want to follow your passion?

The tagline of IIT is obviously important, but it works only if you are studious towards your dream. Otherwise, it becomes worthless as well as you will ruin the reputation of these institutes, that IIT.

Another important thing to be considered that if you are outstanding in CSE and gets the chance in IIT Dhanbad, then you will be to do more research, over-viewing the facts, like infrastructure and facilities of both of these institutes. However, BITs is generally better, and one of my friends was there for BITSAT 2017; the institute is really awesome.

Additionally, IIT Dhanbad is the old IITs, but it is still an IIT, and it gives the student a great height regarding their future career perspectives. It is properly funded still now and will be better in next year’s. But you should not expect a better life here than BITs Hyderabad. The main thing that should always be remembered is that good institutes always lead to a confident pathway, but you have to go alone in this pathway to fulfill your passion.

Thus, you must choose your branch first; after that, you can move forward.

Both the colleges are very well reputed colleges and are very good at their respective fields. MAIT is ranked 251 for BTech by NIRF 2020. Whereas, USICT is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade.
CSE at MAIT-

This course places emphasis on all the important aspects of computers such as computer networks, mobile communication, algorithm design, operating system, advanced database systems, the theory of computation, computer graphics, etc. the department also takes the initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capability, and verbal communication of the students so that they can face their competition in all fields with confidence.

Admission:

• To apply for this course students should pass class 12 i.e 10+2 CBSE pattern or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

• The admission is done through JEE. The institute also conducts CET for selection. In 2019 the closing cutoff for CSE was 42615 (JEE).

• There are a total of 240 seats for CSE and BTech CSE costs around 1.10 lakhs.

Placements:

• Some of the Top companies that come for recruitment are Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, etc.

IT at USICT-

The IT department has been established to design and implement courses with twin objectives of generating effective professionals and to keep up the pace with the R&D activities in the field of fast emerging and changing information, communication technology. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty who excel in their respective fields. The department also places a huge emphasis on research.

• The eligibility criteria for IT the candidate must have passed in 10+2 with at least 60% marks.

• The examination score accepted for admission is CET.

Placements:

• Some of the tech giants that visit the campus for placements are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Samsung, Amazon, Genpact, etc.

• The average starting package is 6-7 LPA.

Between MAIT CSE and IT at USICT the latter has a slight edge in terms of placements.

DAIICT:

• For admission in B.Tech, one must secure 50% marks in the Intermediate Examination.
• One must have cracked JEE Mains, for admission.
• A total of 18 seats are available per course.
• The course fee is almost 7.28 lakhs.

Placement:

As these Universities are not very old, so the infrastructure is equivalent to a highly facilitated campus and mesmerizing space. Comparing the four according to these statistics, we can say IIIT-Vadodara may surpass all in a few years, but PDPU and DAIICT are not far behind. NIRMA University having larger diversity among all four is a little behind in technical courses.
