The student is eligible for campus placement since 7th semester. The companies that visit the campus are Google, Samsung, Meta, Apple, Nvidia, IBM, Mercedes Benz and many more. The percentage of placement is around 84%. My plan after getting the degree is higher studies

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Its is mostly relevant as in 1st year they try to give you basic knowledge of every branch. Then you get into specifics. Although some courses like bio make no sense they still exist and no one can do anything.

Placements at BITS Pilani are amongst the best in India. The Average Package ranges around 22 Lakhs across all branches. Students are eligible to sit in Placements in their fourth year in either first or second semester

Course curriculum in BITS Pilani is consists of both academic and industry experience. The academic curriculum consists of courses from your chosen degree and electives (optional subjects) from other branches as well. One can also pursue Miinor degrees like Finance,Data Science,Robotics etc along with their already chosen Major. The faculty in all departments is well qualified and research oriented providing a good environment for budding researchers. The Curriculum requires do a 6 month Practice School (Paid Work) or Thesis (Research) as a part of the academics. Many big tech, finance and core companies come to Bits for hiring through Practice School. Overall the curriculum is well balanced between engineering academics and industry relevance.

Students sit for placements in their final year, which is mostly the 4th or 5th year. Many companies visit the campus and make numerous offers, such as Microsoft, Google, and BCG. highest package was 61 lakhs while the average was 20 lakhs per annum.

The course curriculum is very well structured. If you attend classes, there's a high probability that you will score well and will understand most of the course. Though sometimes it can be very hard, the curriculum can be pretty demanding.

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. The course curriculum prepares you directly for the outer world. In the first year, we have mechanical workshop, which gives us hands-on-experience on different machines that are used in manufacturing like the Late, Milling, Foundry etc. The first year consists of subjects from each disciplines of the B.E and the Msc Degrees so as to get the basics of students cleared . Further as we go into 2nd and 3rd years the course gets detailed to the discipline the student choses. The exams are times out evenly in the curriculum so the students would get time to prepare for the exams, which are moderate to hard in level.
