Hi! It's fantastic to see students so focused on their careers. Being from Punjab and having cousins studying at LPU, I can provide some insights about LPU. You mentioned BSc, which is a three-year program, but you can also consider B.Tech, a four-year program. The demand for Biotechnology is on the rise, especially in the wake of COVID-19, with promising prospects in medicines, dietetics, nutrition, and more. LPU has gained significant recognition in recent years, with a success trajectory that continues to rise. Here are some reasons why the university is earning accolades:

  • The curriculum at LPU aligns with industry requirements. Topics like plant and animal physiology are covered in depth. This broad curriculum prepares students for exams like CSIR-NET, ICMR, GATE, etc.
  • Well-trained and experienced faculty work diligently to achieve desired results for students.
  • Practical knowledge is provided through well-equipped and updated labs.
  • Industry immersion is facilitated by alumni and industry experts who visit LPU to share insights on market trends.
  • Soft skills and communication classes are also conducted to enhance students' overall readiness.

Should I go for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in LPU or B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Amity University Noida?

C
CosmicCactus Posted On : April 17th, 2026

Considering fees and return on investment, pursuing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University (LPU) might be a smarter financial choice if you're looking for a comprehensive campus experience and decent scholarships based on JEE ranks. Although the semester fees are around Rs.69,000, the campus life is vibrant and the facilities are top-notch. In contrast, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at Amity University Noida has a strong curriculum but the placement opportunities seem to lag behind, especially for branches like Mechanical. If you're aiming for better job prospects and a structured academic environment, LPU offers better value for money. However, if your passion lies in Computer Science, Amity could still be worth considering for its infrastructure and social life. Ultimately, choose LPU for a broader experience and potentially better placements in 2026.

How do the placements really compare between LPU MA Psychology and Amity University Noida MA Clinical Psychology?

G
GenialGazelle Posted On : April 17th, 2026

Amity University Noida has a dedicated placement cell in every major institute, as far as I know. However, the quality of placements varies based on your performance in academics, co-scholastic activities, sports, and out-campus achievements. The best placements are typically in the MBA, B Tech (CS), and Law branches, sometimes reaching as high as 16 lacs p.a. The average placements for various fields are as follows:

  • B Tech: 3 to 4 lacs p.a. (depends on the field chosen)
  • MBA: 6–7 lacs p.a.
  • LLB: 5–7 lacs p.a.

Other disciplines don't see impressive placements. Amity does guarantee a placement, but it may not align with your field of study. For instance, students from biotech have received calls from IT companies like Wipro, MakeMyTrip, etc.

Companies conduct their own aptitude tests and interviews, and you must qualify to get placed. Ultimately, it depends more on your skills for securing a job.

How do the placements really compare between LPU B.Tech Computer Science Engineering and Amity University Noida B.Tech Computer Science Engineering?

L
LaudableLlama Posted On : April 17th, 2026

Hello, Comparing two prestigious private universities that excel in their own unique ways is possible, but the choice ultimately depends on individual needs and preferences. Studying at Lovely Professional University, I can provide more insight about it, but I’ll do my best to give a balanced perspective. In terms of quality education, both universities perform excellently. When it comes to placements, they are quite comparable: Amity’s highest placement was INR 61.75 lakh, while LPU's was INR 62.72 lakh. If you are specifically interested in B.Tech courses in Computer Science Engineering or MBA, Lovely Professional University might offer a slight advantage. However, Amity can also be a good option for certain courses, so a bit of personal research is advisable.

Campus life? Undoubtedly, LPU provides an outstanding experience with its expansive 600-acre campus, impressive infrastructure featuring over 60 blocks, dedicated hubs for gaming and food, safe hostels, and regular events including concerts with celebrities, motivational speakers, influencers, and entrepreneurs. I hope this helps you make the right choice for yourself. All the Best!

LPU or Amity University Noida would be the best for BA/BBA LLB?

E
EtherealElfEnigma Posted On : April 17th, 2026

I think Amity University Noida has a slight edge over LPU when it comes to placements and internships for the BA/BBA LLB program. Amity has a strong reputation for its campus placements, often attracting well-known companies, while LPU's placements seem to improve towards the end of the program but may not be as robust from the outset. Internships at Amity are also structured to provide valuable real-world experience, which is crucial for law students. So, if you're looking for better job prospects and a more established placement network, Amity would be the better choice, while LPU might be great for those who prefer a more spirited campus life and engaging faculty.

Which one should I opt for LPU B.Sc Forensic Sciences or Amity University Noida B.Sc (Hons.) Biotechnology

E
EphemeralEnigmaEcho Posted On : April 17th, 2026

Honestly, both LPU's B.Sc Forensic Sciences and Amity University's B.Sc (Hons.) Biotechnology have their strengths, but I’d lean towards LPU for its practical curriculum and strong placement opportunities. LPU offers a well-structured forensic program with hands-on experience, which is crucial if you want to excel in that field. The faculty is supportive, and the fact that they have a solid placement record with companies like Microsoft and Amazon is a huge bonus. Amity does have a good reputation, but LPU stands out with its vibrant campus life and competitive scholarships, which can ease the financial burden. If you're looking for a more dynamic and experiential learning environment, LPU would be the way to go.

LPU or Amity University Noida would be the best for MCA?

FranticFireflyFable Posted On : April 17th, 2026

LPU and Amity University Noida both offer solid MCA programs, but LPU stands out for its impressive placement statistics and supportive faculty. At LPU, you can start campus placements from the third semester, with many students landing jobs at top companies like HCL and Microsoft, whereas Amity's placement details are less specific. The campus life at LPU is vibrant with plenty of extracurricular activities and facilities, while Amity also boasts a great library and sports education. However, LPU’s curriculum is designed to be more hands-on and industry-relevant, making it a better choice for those serious about building a career in software engineering. I personally recommend LPU for its strong placement opportunities and overall student experience. If you prioritize a well-rounded education with excellent job prospects, LPU is the way to go.

Is choosing LPU MBA/PGDM over Amity University Noida MBA/PGDM a good decision? Is MBA/PGDM in LPU worth the fees

S
SupportiveSeal Posted On : April 17th, 2026

It really depends on what you define as a good ‘ROI’. For some, a decent paying job with a five-figure salary might be enough, while others may aim for much more.

When it comes to the ‘Returns’, consider looking for a college or university that has strong connections with major companies and MNCs. Check their previous placement records to see which companies visit the campus for recruitment. Ultimately, whether you get selected or not hinges on your performance in studies and interviews.

From personal experience, I would recommend considering Lovely Professional University for your MBA. LPU attracts many major companies during placement rounds, including big names like Google, Amazon, Cognizant, and more. If you want the opportunity to interview with some of the top companies, joining LPU could provide the best ‘returns’ on your ‘investment’.
