The total strength of students in AIIMS is 1788 students registered on the Youth4work platform. Out of these1788 students, there are

As a student at BITS Pilani, I can tell that there are major aspects other than placements that make BITS Pilani better than BITS Mesra. I have listed them below.
- BITS Pilani has a better and more lively student community with a higher ratio of students qualifying exams like IIT-JEE.
- It has student-friendly and better management policies for students compared to BITS Mesra.
- BITS Pilani is known for its strong industry connections that help students in securing internship opportunities in top companies.
- BITS Pilani has a better infrastructure with modern facilities and dedicated study areas.
- BITS Mesra uses different state and national-level exams for admission but BITS Pilani has its own dedicated BITSAT exam for admission.
Which is better for CSE? (IIT Roorkee vs BITS Pilani vs IIT BHU vs IIIT Hyderabad)
Every Institute has its unique aspects as well as its own strengths and weaknesses. Some factors to consider include the quality of the faculty, the resources available to students, the research opportunities, and the campus culture.
IIT Roorkee, BITS Pilani, and IIT BHU CS are definitely excellent but IIIT Hyderabad wins the race when it comes to CS. It’s second only to IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, and Madras. Because of only 2 branches, the entire focus of the Institute is on CS only. The opportunities, ambiance, and faculty are aligned with the requirements for a good CS branch. Another good option is IIT BHU because of its high ROI.
Having known a few friends in all 4 institutes, I can confidently say that those who chose IIIT Hyderabad CS over IIT Roorkee are doing better now. The IIT tag certainly is helpful but only to a limited extent. The exposure provided by IIIT Hyderabad and its excellent placement opportunities overshadows the much coveted IIT Tag making it a better choice among all institutes. But those looking for stability, facilities, academia, and vast opportunities can go for IIT Roorkee.
Are the new IITs better than NITs or other engineering colleges?
I am a B.Tech student at IIT Gandhinagar and I can assure you that you won’t regret your decision of joining a new IIT. By joining a new IIT, you will learn from some of the best professors in our country, study the best curriculum, get the best research opportunities, and live the best hostel life.
One of my friends joined the Civil Engineering branch at IIT Indore. The branch is quite new at this institution and its very first batch passed in 2020 with quite decent placements.
The campus life at IIT Gandhinagar is great. There are many students clubs over here and you can learn marketing, programming, and other skills. The exposure offered at new IITs is unmatched when compared to NITs or any other engineering college.
Thus, new IITs are a great choice and are much better than NITs or other engineering colleges in certain aspects.
How do I get my SOL DU books?
After successfully completing the admission process, you will receive an SMS regarding the study material. It will contain the exact date, place, time, and counter number for the collection of books. You can take the acknowledgment slip directly there and collect the same. You must carry your SOL ID card along with the fee receipt.
SOL also provides courier service and delivers the books to your address but you might need to wait a little longer for that. It is possible that you might not get the complete study material through courier. The best possible option, in this case, will be to visit the main office at SOL.
Is getting admission to Allahabad University tough?
Getting admission at Allahabad University is easier compared to premier institutes like DU and JNU. For PG courses, getting admission can be a little difficult, due to the limited number of seats. But, with strategic preparation, you can score well on the entrance test. There are many guides available that you can follow to get an insight into the examination pattern.
Does anyone prefer BITS Goa over BITS Pilani? If yes, why?
As an aspirant, choosing the right branch is crucial and cannot be stressed enough. Here are some factors to consider when making this decision:
- If you score well but are unable to get a seat in CSE at BITS Pilani, you could consider Hyderabad. Alternatively, if you are offered EEE at Pilani, you might want to think about the potential "what ifs" such as missing out on your desired elective or the lucrative packages offered to CSE students.
- If the branch is the same, you could choose Goa over Pilani for its culture and campus life. However, Pilani has a legacy factor that cannot be ignored.
- Consider your personal circumstances and preferences when making your decision. For instance, if you're a dualite, you might want to choose a campus that offers the branch you want as well as the dual degree you desire. Goa campus might be a safer bet for circuit branches than Pilani, where the competition and cutoffs are higher.
- Apart from these factors, here are some other reasons you might choose Goa campus over Pilani:
- Weather: Goa has pleasant and beautiful weather throughout the year, although it can be humid at times due to excessive rain. This is better than Pilani's climate.
- Extravagant life: While Goa offers access to booze and rave parties, not everyone is into it. You'll find people staying in Goa and enjoying its beauty without necessarily going to the beach all the time. It depends on the individual's preferences and priorities.

Which is better: IIM K or NITIE?
Both IIM K and NITIE are renowned institutes and offer the same placement opportunities.
- If you take a look from an ROI point of view then NITIE has an upper hand. The fee structure at NITIE is 12.53 lakhs and is half or less than that from IIM K.
- NITIE is known for its Operations branch. The majority of SCM Head, VP Operations, Head logistics in industries are a part of the alumni of NITIE.
- If you are not interested in Operations then opt for IIM K. It has been ranked above NITIE and if the IIM tag is what that you desire the go for it.
Your decision may be influenced by the distance of these institutions from your hometown, financial background, preference for a particular specialization, and many such factors. Since it is an important decision do not hastily jump to conclusions. Make a wise choice that would benefit you in the future.
Is NIT Calicut worth joining?
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance. One of my friends studied there and here are a few facts he shared about the college.
- CSE is the best branch, followed by Mechanical Engineering. Other branches such as ECE or EEE are not worth it.
- It is harder to get good grades here as compared to other NITs. NIT Calicut prepares a tough question paper. You have to work really hard and get good marks.
- The students with more than 7.5 CGPA usually get good placements.

Is it worth doing an MBA from any Symbiosis Institute?
If you want to do an MBA from Symbiosis, choose SIBM Pune or SCMHRD. Among all the Symbiosis B-School these are most reputed and offer decent placements to students. SIBM Pune placements 2022 witnessed an average CTC of INR 23.04 LPA and the highest CTC was INR 45 LPA. While according to the recent highlights, SCMHRD average package is around INR 16 LPA.
