How is Parul University for a B.Tech?

What is the minimum rank to get into IIT Delhi for CSE?
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will soon release the JEE Advanced 2023 cutoff for IIT Delhi. The authorities will also consider various factors for determining the IIT Delhi cutoff for JEE Advanced 2023 like the number of applicants, number of seats, previous year cutoff trends, etc.

How is B Tech at DU?
Cluster Innovation Center is the only Engineering Programme at the University of Delhi. You will not be studying those pointless first-year subjects that are common in almost every other engineering college. You will only study subjects related to your field.
Information technology and Mathematics are included in the curriculum. Aside from these two, you must choose your second major beginning in the second semester. There are three options: Business and Management, Electronics and Embedded Systems, and Computational Biology.
According to the curriculum, you will be required to complete month-long projects in almost every subject. Aside from that, you must complete a semester-long project in the fourth and sixth semesters. Students are generally not accepted by companies during their first two years of college due to a lack of skills and experience, so they must rely on internships provided by the college, which are of average quality.
Why MDU Rohtak is not a good choice for doing B.Tech?
MDU Rohtak is an average university. Although there are not many opportunities made available to the students you can turn the tables with your caliber and skills.
If you are a mediocre student with good writing skills then MDU would be the best fit for you. The students tend to write gibberish in the examination halls and yet pass their exams in the first attempt. Assuming that you are an average student, scoring good marks in your exams would not be much of a challenge.
If you are pursuing the course only for procuring a degree then UIET MDU would be a good decision. Your college life here would be quite challenging as you would have to fight for the bare minimum. For lab keys, placement opportunities, better grades and such are a part of this fight.
Otherwise, your passion for the course would be well catered at MDU Rohtak. Make a decision you do not regret later.
How is IIIT Bhubaneshwar for undergraduate studies compared to other IIIT’s?
IIIT Bhubaneswar is a relatively new institute compared to some of the older IIITs in the country. Here are some points that can help you understand how IIIT Bhubaneswar fares in comparison to other IIITs for undergraduate studies:
Pros:
- Faculty: IIIT Bhubaneswar has a team of highly experienced and qualified faculty members. The professors are approachable, helpful, and dedicated to teaching the students.
- Campus: The campus of IIIT Bhubaneswar is located in a serene environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a perfect place for students who want to focus on their studies without any distractions.
- Infrastructure: The institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, a library, and sports facilities. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and students have access to high-speed internet.
- Curriculum: The curriculum at IIIT Bhubaneswar is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and engineering. The course curriculum is updated regularly to keep up with the latest industry trends.
- Placements: IIIT Bhubaneswar has a good placement record with companies such as Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, etc., visiting the campus for recruitment.
Cons:
- Location: IIIT Bhubaneswar is located in a relatively remote area, which may not be suitable for students who prefer a lively and vibrant campus life.
- Limited Diversity: IIIT Bhubaneswar is relatively new compared to some of the older IIITs, and as a result, it may have a limited diversity of students and faculty.
- Limited Extracurricular Activities: The institute may not have a wide range of extracurricular activities, which may be a concern for students who are interested in pursuing other interests alongside their academics.
Overall, IIIT Bhubaneswar is a good choice for students who are interested in pursuing undergraduate studies in computer science and engineering. While it may have some limitations compared to some of the older IIITs in the country, it is still a relatively new institute that is rapidly growing and improving in terms of its infrastructure, faculty, and curriculum.
What is the current placement for B.Tech students doing DCRUST - Deen Bandhu Chotu Ram, Murthal?
One of my friends studied at DCRUST. According to him, if you are willing to study at DCRUST Murthal, opt for either CSE or ECE. As the core engineering departments like mechanical or electrical do not have good placements. It is better to go for CSE or ECE as many corporate firms participate in their placement program.

Most of the DCRUST alumni received placement offers from TCS, Tech Mahindra, and HCL. About 80 students were placed in TCS. Other notable companies that recruit students from DCRUST include Fidelity, Jindal Iron and Steel, MediaTek, Finserv, Sapient, BEL, and many more.
How is mechanical engineering at IIT (BHU)?
My cousin was a student at IIT BHU in Varanasi. She shared her experience as to why she thinks it’s not a good branch for Mechanical Engineering.

The professors are under qualified here. They have little knowledge about their own subjects and teach only bookish concepts. The classes are boring.

Students attend classes merely for attendance. This is because even if you score good marks, you might fail if your attendance is less than 75% in that particular subject.

The numerical answers are not checked through the stepwise method. That is your method to solve has no value if your answer is wrong.

Professors here are not well versed with the relative grading system. This affects the CGPA of many students.

Placements are mediocre here. Only non core sectors like coding and analytics get placement opportunities. The salaries offered are also very low.

Labs are not equipped with modern tools. The students get no practical exposure.
The conclusion from her experience was that the professors in Mechanical Engineering at Varanasi IIT are bringing down the results of students terribly.
Why do students from NSIT, DTU, IIIT A, IIITD and MNNIT perform well in SPOJ, CodeChef, and Codeforces even though NIT Trichy, Warangal, and Surathkal have much better ranked students?
Competitive coding has nothing to do with the JEE curriculum. So someone’s coding skill does not depend on their JEE rank. At least not until coding becomes a part of JEE syllabus.
Coding depends a lot on the environment of the institute. Environment plays a major role in making students do certain things. IIITA has a great coding culture. Which makes everyone have a go at coding. It’s the culture that provokes you to start competitive programming early. You will not find that kind of coding culture at most NITs.
Is IIT Delhi CSE best in india?
IIT Delhi is one of the top engineering institutes in India and is known for its Computer Science and Engineering program. According to various rankings, it is considered to be one of the best in the country.
- Unlike the faculty of other departments of IIT Delhi, this department has the most approachable and friendly faculty
- There are no compulsory attendance rules but the classes are interesting enough to attract students automatically
- Extensive research work in the department has made it one of the best departments of the Institute
- The peer groups are geniuses who are extremely hardworking and always ready to achieve the best.
Apart from Delhi, CS department of these institutes is also very good and reputed
- IITK CS: It has an excellent reputation with the best AKS Primality algorithm.
- IITB CS: This boasts of excellent alumni like Narendra Karmarkar
- IIIT-Hyderabad CS: This institute lays great emphasis in its course structure on coding
