NIT Kurukshetra is one of the best engineering colleges in India and is known for its course structure and placements. ECE course at NIT, Kurukshetra is not very popular however, it has its advantages of being a research and theory-driven course with passionate students showing incredible results.

• Admissions: Admission to CSE course at IIITM is done through JEE scores and appointment of specialization is done by students after their first year depending on their marks.

All-in-all looking at the two universities, it is clear that it depends on the student’s choice what they wish to pursue depending on their JEE rank and scores While placements at IIITM Gwalior are better than the ECE course of NIT Kurukshetra, NIT does provide them with an industry name which can be useful while looking for employment later. The fee for CSE course at IIITM Gwalior is 1.49 L Per annum, whereas the fee for the ECE course at NIT, Kurukshetra is 70k per annum. UIET Chandigarh:-

• The admission is based on the valid score of 75% marks in 10+2 with JEE Main. 
• The course fee is INR 3.25 LPA.
• The seats for CSE in UIET Chandigarh are 122.
• The cutoff required in JEE Main is in the range of 945-224246.

Placements:

Almost 80% of the students got placed in 2019 with the highest package offered is INR 30 LPA by Microsoft. The placements in both these colleges are good and many of the companies offer handsome packages to the students every year. CSE receives the highest amount of placement of 100%. 

The top companies are Ashok Leyland, Amazon, Pepsi, Nestle, Deloitte, Infosys, KPMG, etc.

Choosing among these two institutes is entirely upon the students. However, NIT Kurukshetra is mostly preferred than UIET Chandigarh as it provides more placements every year.
