GNLU was established by the Govt. of Gujarat, under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. It is an institute of National Importance, and it is doing well in the field of law. 

The University is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), International Association of Law Schools (IALS), Asian Law Institute (ASLI), and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.

IIT Indore has improved up to 3 ranks in the Overall category, and by 2 ranks in the Engineering category, compared to the previous year.

IIT Indore ranking is good compared to other IITs. Comparing IIT Indore to other IITs, it is in a favourable position. Graduates of IIT Indore are among the top 1% of Indian engineers. Despite being relatively new in comparison to other IITs, it earned appreciation from experts worldwide by generating respectable alumni who maintain significant positions globally.

The QS World University Ranking 2024 is released. As per this ranking, IIT Roorkee is positioned #369 among the top Global universities. IIT Roorkee has continuously progressed over the years, and the QS ranking of IITR denotes its esteemed reputation, high performance, quality education, and proficiency in various areas.

In the QS ranking 2024, IIT Roorkee is #14 under the category of top South Asian universities. In 2022, IIT Roorkee was ranked 109th under Asia Category and in 2023, it secured 114th position. In this category, the college has seen a drop. In the 2024 ranking, it has secured 116th place among Asian Colleges/Universities.

IIT Guwahati is one of the top ranked engineering institutions in India. It belongs to the list of 7 oldest and most sought after IITs. As per the NIRF ranking 2023, IIT Guwahati is ranked #7 among the top Engineering colleges in India. Other than that, IIT Guwahati is ranked #285 by QS World University Ranking 2024 and #601 by The World University Ranking 2024.
