Online registration for Round 1 will be open from November 6 to 9, 2025, followed by online choice‐filling between November 11 and 13, 2025. Eligible candidates must satisfy NEET PG 2025 qualification and meet state quota/in-service criteria stipulated by WBMCC ahead of the counselling process.
West Bengal NEET PG Counselling Process
Admission for PG medical programs in West Bengal, including MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB (Post-MBBS Degree/Diploma) seats across government and private medical colleges, will be carried out through centralized counselling by WBMCC.
Seats will be allotted based on inter-se merit, with category-wise consideration for UR, EWS, OBC-A, OBC-B, SC, ST, and PwD candidates under open, in-service, and other-service brackets.
The counselling procedure begins with online registration, followed by choice filling within the scheduled timelines. As part of eligibility, candidates must have qualified NEET PG 2025 and meet the state-specified criteria for participation.
A significant portion of seats remains earmarked for in-service medical professionals, with 40% of State Quota degree seats, 50% of diploma seats, and 100% of DNB seats reserved for eligible government medical officers and teachers.
Candidates are advised to keep essential documents ready for verification during the process. Required documents generally include NEET PG admit card and scorecard, MBBS degree and internship completion certificate, state medical registration proof, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable), along with other mandatory forms specified by the counselling authority.
