UBTER JEEP 2026 Registration Deadline Extended till May 15; Apply Now

The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education (UBTER) has announced an extension of the UBTER JEEP 2026 registration deadline to May 15, 2026. Candidates can apply online through the official portal ubterjeep.co.in or submit offline application forms at designated polytechnic institutes. The application fee is ₹800 for general and OBC candidates, while SC/ST candidates must pay ₹500.

UBTER JEEP 2026 is the state-level entrance examination for admission to diploma and lateral entry programmes in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and related fields across Uttarakhand.

The exam determines eligibility for 55 participating government and private polytechnic colleges offering a diverse range of technical courses. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 35% marks in science and mathematics to qualify for admission.

UBTER JEEP 2026 Exam Format

The UBTER JEEP 2026 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper format with a total duration of two hours. The question paper comprises two parts: Part 1 focuses on Mathematics, while Part 2 covers Physics and Chemistry.

Each question carries one mark with no negative marking for incorrect responses, making it crucial for candidates to attempt all questions strategically. After the exam, UBTER will release admit cards on the official website for registered candidates only.

UBTER JEEP 2026 How to Apply?

• The online registration process requires candidates to complete several steps for successful application submission.
• Candidates must first register on the official portal by providing personal details including name, gender, contact number, and email address.
• After registration, applicants fill the complete application form with academic and communication details, then upload scanned copies of their photograph (200×230 pixels, 20-50 KB) and signature (140×60 pixels, 10-20 KB) in JPG format.
• Payment of the application fee must be completed through the online gateway using debit card, credit card, or internet banking facilities.
• Candidates are advised to retain the online fee receipt as proof of payment for future reference and admit card verification.
• Multiple registrations for the same course or group will result in automatic cancellation without prior notice, so applicants should avoid duplicate submissions.

Offline application forms are available at all government and aided polytechnic institutes across Uttarakhand for candidates preferring the traditional submission method. The offline OMR-based forms must be completely filled and submitted either in person or through registered post to the Joint Entrance Examination & Training, Research Institute, Aamwala, Dehradun-248001. Candidates opting for offline registration must ensure all required documents and signatures are properly affixed before submission.

Candidates must download their admit cards using registration number and date of birth, verify all details including name, roll number, exam centre, and date/time, and bring printed copies to the examination hall.

Results will be declared in June 2026 in the form of rank cards displaying candidate ranks and other pertinent details. UBTER JEEP 2026 Counselling for seat allotment will commence after result declaration, with candidates required to participate in choice filling and reporting to allocated institutes.
