The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has postponed the TS PGECET 2026 examination scheduled for May 28 to June 1, 2026. The remaining exam dates from May 29 to May 31 will proceed as planned without any modifications.

TS PGECET is the gateway entrance exam for postgraduate engineering programs in Telangana. The postponement affects only the first day of examinations due to administrative reasons. Candidates must verify their exam centre, timing, and other details on their hall tickets immediately.

TS PGECET 2026 Exam Pattern and Format

The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark with no negative marking for wrong answers.

The exam covers engineering mathematics, general aptitude, and subject-specific topics. Candidates must bring valid photo ID and other required documents to the exam centre.
