Osmania University, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), officially declared the TS ECET 2026 results on May 29, 2026, at 3:30 PM. A total of 17,870 candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their rank cards through the official portal. Candidates must visit ecet.tgche.ac.in to download their results.
The result announcement marks a significant milestone for diploma and B.Sc (Mathematics) degree holders seeking lateral entry into engineering and pharmacy programs. Qualified candidates will now proceed toward the counselling process scheduled for June 2026.
TS ECET is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually for lateral entry admissions into second-year B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharmacy programs. The examination was conducted on May 15, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple examination centers. Approximately 95.46% of registered candidates appeared for the examination.
The ranking system follows specific guidelines where candidates are ranked based on marks obtained. In case of tie-breaking, mathematics marks are considered first, followed by physics and chemistry marks respectively. Older candidates receive priority if all marks remain equal.
