Tripura NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Round-1 Merit List and Choice Filing Dates Released

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura has released an important notification regarding the State-Specific Merit List for Round-1 of NEET PG 2024 Counselling. The choice filling window will be open till November 28, 2024, 2 PM.

Choice Filling for Round-1 Counselling

1. Schedule for Choice Filling:

   • Start Date: November 26, 2024 (2:00 PM)
   • End Date: November 28, 2024 (2:00 PM)

2. Key Instructions for Choice Filling:

   • Candidates must carefully select and lock their choices (subjects, courses, institutions) on the counselling portal within the stipulated period.
   • If candidates do not manually lock their choices by the deadline, the system will automatically lock their filled choices.
   • Choices once locked will be final for Round-1 and cannot be changed.

State-Specific Merit List Details

1. Preparation of Merit List:
   • The State-Specific Merit List has been prepared by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), taking into account the incentivized marks awarded to in-service candidates as per the applicable rules.
2. Normalization Process:
   • The merit list has been recalculated using a state-specific percentile and rank.
   • These state-specific scores/ranks differ from the All India NEET-PG 2024 percentile and rank, and thus, they are not directly comparable to the All India ranks.
3. Eligibility:
   • Only candidates who registered for Round-1 of Tripura NEET PG 2024 Counselling are included in this list.
