LIBA PhD Admission January 2026 Begins; Apply Till Dec 31 Through @liba.edu

The Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) has started accepting applications for its PhD Programme (January 2026 Session), which is offered under the University of Madras. Candidates must first complete the online PhD application on the University of Madras portal by December 31, 2025, and later submit the LIBA application by January 2, 2026. The institute will forward selected candidates to the University of Madras after its internal review.

Candidates must have completed 10+2+3+2 or 11+1+3+2 and hold a master’s degree with at least 55% marks. For SC/ST candidates and those who completed their PG before 1991, the minimum requirement is 50%.

LIBA PhD Admission 2026 Dates

The PhD duration ranges from 3 to 5 years, with a 1-year exemption available for candidates holding an M.Phil degree.

Once the shortlisted candidates from LIBA are forwarded to the University of Madras, they will move into the counselling phase, which includes interview rounds conducted as per the university’s guidelines.

During this stage, candidates must also complete document verification by presenting their PG marksheets, category certificates (if applicable), research proposal, ID proof, and other required academic records to confirm their eligibility for final admission.
