Tamil Nadu NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2025 Schedule Released; Check Details at @tnmedicalselection.net

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai, has released the schedule for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Counselling for MBBS and BDS courses.

Eligible candidates can register and pay the counselling fee at tnmedicalselection.net from October 6 (10:00 AM) to October 9, 2025 (5:00 PM).

The choice filling and locking window will be open from October 11 to 14, 2025. This round applies to admissions in Government Medical and Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, and Management Quota seats in self-financing institutions across Tamil Nadu.

Candidates must carefully follow the official schedule released by the Selection Committee, DME Chennai, to avoid missing important deadlines. The complete timeline for Round 3 counselling is given below:

Who is Eligible for TN NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Counselling?

Candidates who have registered in Round 1 or Round 2 but were not allotted any seat are not required to register again. Those who have joined earlier rounds and wish for upgradation must log in during the registration window to confirm participation.

Fresh registration is allowed only for candidates who have not registered earlier but whose names appear in the official Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee Merit List.

Candidates satisfied with their current allotment can skip this round. However, once upgraded in Round 3, the earlier seat will be automatically relinquished, and the new seat must be joined mandatorily.

Candidates can edit their choices multiple times before locking, but once locked, no further modifications are allowed. If a candidate fails to lock choices by October 14 (5 PM), the system will automatically lock the last saved preferences.

Those allotted seats in Round 3 must join the allotted college before the deadline. Failure to report will lead to forfeiture of registration, tuition, and security fees, and the candidate will become ineligible for subsequent rounds.

Allotted candidates must download their Provisional Allotment Order and report to the allotted college by October 22, 2025. Certificate verification will take place at the respective colleges, and students must carry original documents along with scanned copies for verification. Non-reporting will result in cancellation of admission without further notice.

The tuition fee for allotted seats must be paid online using debit/credit card or net banking. Candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST/SCC categories admitted under Government and Management Quota are exempted from paying the tuition fee if their annual family income is below ₹2.5 lakh. The fee structure details are available on the official website.

Following the completion of Round 3, the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted for remaining seats, if any. Candidates allotted in Round 3 will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds.
