New Delhi: The Eighth Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference, themed 'Innovative Strategies for Sustainable and Digital Supply Chains,' is scheduled for January 05 and 06, 2024, at the Supply Chain Management Centre, a Center of Excellence within IIM Bangalore.
Designed to cater to academic researchers and industry practitioners specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management, this two-day event promises a rich blend of keynote sessions, paper presentations, and collaborative discussions. Attendees can anticipate an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange, the sharing of best practices, and engagement in cutting-edge research presentations.
The conference's opening day will witness a keynote address by M S Ganesh, General Manager of Capacity Supply Chain & Provisioning at Microsoft Azure. Later in the evening session, Dr. Milind Dawande, the Mike Redeker Distinguished Professor in Operations Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, will deliver another keynote speech.
Day Two will showcase a keynote presentation by Dr. Saravanan Kesavan, Professor of Operations and Sarah Graham Kenan Scholar at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Overseen by Conference Chairs Prof. Tarun Jain, a faculty member in the Production and Operations Management area and Chairperson of the Supply Chain Management Centre at IIMB, and Prof.
Abhinav Anand from the Finance and Accounting area at IIMB, the event is coordinated by Dr. Aditya Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of the Supply Chain Management Centre at IIMB. This gathering promises to be an insightful and collaborative convergence of industry expertise and academic insight, offering a platform to explore pioneering strategies for sustainable and digitally-driven supply chains.
