St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata Begins PG Admission 2026; Apply by June 14 @sxuk.edu.in

St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata has started its Admission 2026 process for postgraduate programmes (except MBA & EMBA). Interested candidates can apply online till June 14, 2026 (12:00 midnight). The Internet-Based Admission Test (IBT) will be conducted from June 19 to June 21, 2026.

The university will release admit cards on June 16, 2026, and shortlisted candidates must complete admission formalities in July. Selection will be based on performance in the admission test.

Admission Test Schedule

The application fee is ₹1,100, and it is non-refundable for all applicants. After selection, candidates must pay an admission fee of ₹30,000 for all postgraduate courses. In addition, an alumni membership fee of ₹5,015 is applicable.

However, students who have completed their graduation from St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata and have already paid the alumni membership fee are not required to pay it again.

SXUK PG Course-Wise Fee Structure 2026

For international applicants, the university follows a separate fee structure based on the country category. Students from SAARC countries will pay the same course fees as Indian students.

Candidates from other Asian countries will be charged two times (2×) the prescribed course fees, while applicants from all other foreign countries will have to pay three times (3×) the course fees. In case of admission cancellation or withdrawal, fee refund will be processed as per the UGC Fee Refund Policy.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation degree must be UGC-recognised and minimum three years.
• Admission is allowed only if there is no gap of more than five years after graduation.
• Minimum 120 credits in UG or 1800 total marks.
• Final mark sheet must be submitted by October 15, 2026, otherwise admission will be cancelled.
• Admission is strictly based on marks obtained in the admission test.
• 10% seats reserved for EWS category (valid certificate required).

The university can cancel admission if incorrect information is submitted. Candidates are advised to check the official website and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
