SOIL Institute of Management Begins MBA Admission 2026

SOIL Institute of Management has started the admission process for its PGDM program for the 2026 academic session, and the institute has announced that the Cycle 1 Achievers Round application deadline is December 13, 2025.

Candidates applying this cycle must fill out the online form, upload the required documents, and submit valid exam scores to be considered for shortlisting. The institute follows a detailed selection process involving academics, entrance exam performance, extracurriculars, work experience, and GEPI rounds.

SOIL Institute of Management 2-Year PGDM Program Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a UGC/AIU-recognised institution. Additional criteria include:

  • Minimum 3 years of study after 10+2.
  • Final-year students may apply with proof of securing 50% marks; final documents must be submitted by October 1, 2026.
  • A valid score in CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, NMAT, SNAP, or ATMA is compulsory.
  • Freshers and candidates with less than 3 years of work experience are fully eligible.

Note: Failure to meet eligibility conditions will result in admission cancellation, and fees are non-refundable.

SOIL follows a holistic evaluation system that examines a candidate’s academic preparedness, aptitude test performance, achievements, and overall interaction during the GEPI process. Candidates are assessed across multiple parameters, each carrying a specific weightage that contributes to the final admission decision.

The SOIL PGDM selection process assigns 35% weightage to entrance exam scores, and candidates may submit valid scores from CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, NMAT, or ATMA, with the best score taken into account. Academic performance holds 15%, covering undergraduate marks, GPA, distinctions, and consistency.

Extra-curricular activities carry 5%, highlighting participation in sports, cultural events, or social initiatives. Work experience adds another 5%, though freshers are equally considered. The largest share, 40% weightage, is allotted to the GE/PI round, where teamwork, communication, clarity of goals, and leadership abilities are assessed.
