NID has declared the BDes Final Result 2026 on its official admissions portal. Shortlisted candidates must download scorecards, upload required documents by May 31, 2026, and confirm seat preferences before Round 1 seat allotment begins June 9, 2026.

The National Institute of Design has announced the B.Des Final Result 2026-27 on admissions.nid.edu. Eligible candidates can now log in using their registered email address and date of birth to download their scorecards and view their final ranks.
The final merit list has been prepared based on DAT Mains scores with 60% weightage for Studio Sensitivity Test and 40% for In-Person Sensitivity Test. Candidates must complete document submission and seat preference confirmation within the specified timeline to proceed with counselling.

How to Check NID BDes Final Result 2026?
- Visit the official website admissions.nid.edu and locate the B.Des Final Result link on the homepage.
- Enter your registered email address and date of birth to access your scorecard and final rank details.
- Download and save your scorecard for future reference and counselling rounds.
- The portal will display your category-wise ranking and eligibility status for seat allotment process.
All shortlisted candidates must upload required documents through the official portal during the specified window. Valid photo identity proof, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, and category certificates (if applicable) must be submitted.
Candidates applying under reserved categories must upload valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS certificates issued on or after April 1, 2025. PwD candidates must provide disability certificates or UDID cards for verification during counselling.
NID BDes 2026 Final Result Tie-Breaking Policy Explained
In case two or more candidates score identical marks, NID applies a specific tie-break policy announced on April 10, 2026. Higher rank is assigned to candidates with better marks in Studio Sensitivity Test (Test I).
If tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Studio Sensitivity Test Question 3 receive preference. Further ties are resolved using Question 1 scores, and remaining ties result in same rank allocation.

After Round 1 seat allotment on June 9, 2026, selected candidates must confirm their seat and pay the token amount. Physical verification of documents will be conducted during counselling in the third week of June 2026.
