New Delhi: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 registration deadline has been extended till June 3, 2024, at 5 pm. Those who have not applied yet can register themselves for the examination through the official website @nestexam.in. Earlier the last date for registration was May 31, 2024.

The NEST is conducted for admission to the integrated MSc programs in basic Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at NISER Bhubaneswar and the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (DAE CEBS) in Mumbai. This year, the examination is scheduled for June 30, 2024.

Who is Eligible for NISER/CEBS MSc Admission Through NEST 2024?

The eligibility criteria for admission in MSc Admission 2024 at NISER/CEBS are mentioned below:

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard examination or equivalent in 2022 or 2023, or be appearing for it in 2024.
A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) is required in the Class 12th examination from any recognized Board in India.
For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum marks requirement is 55%.
Candidates have to secure a position in the NEST 2024 merit list.
