The NEET UG counselling will be conducted for MBBS (1,09,170), BDS (27,868) and B.Sc Nursing (1000) seats. MCC handles counselling for 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats while the State Medical Counselling and Admission Authorities handle the remaining 85% of seats in each state. There is confusion among the students about whether the counselling process will be conducted anyway or be postponed. To address this concern, the NTA stated that preparations for a potential retest are made every year even before conducting any examination because irregularities may happen even after strict protocols. The advanced preparation is intended to prevent any kind of delay in the overall process.
