NTA has released the provisional answer key on 21^st June 2026. Manual Way to Calculate NEET Marks

Students can also calculate their score manually if they have already checked their answers. They only need the number of correct and wrong attempts.

NEET Score Formula:

NEET Score = (Correct Answers × 4) − (Wrong Answers × 1)

Response Type	Marks

Unattempted question	0

For example, if a student has 150 correct answers and 20 wrong answers, the score will be:

(150 × 4) − (20 × 1) = 600 − 20 = 580 marks out of 720.

Use Provisional Answer Key for Early Estimate

Students should note that the score calculated using the provisional answer key is not final. NTA allows candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key. If any answer is revised after review, the expected score may change.
