Mumbai University Exam Disrupted: Students Face Confusion Due to Incorrect Questions
The Mumbai University exam on March 1, 2024, encountered significant disruptions. An incorrect set of questions in the MA question paper led to confusion. Students had to wait four hours for the correct second question paper, which focused on "India's Foreign Policy."
The 2.30 pm paper began at 4:40 pm, and the examination concluded by 7 pm, sparking student disapproval. Meanwhile, many prestigious colleges affiliated with Mumbai University and other central universities have avoided considering scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for 2024-2025.
This decision stems from the fact that the exam dates extend beyond the typical admission months in Mumbai. In February, Mithibai College and Narsee Monjee College of SVKM decided not to recognise CUET scores for their undergraduate courses. Instead, applicants will be evaluated based on their 12th-grade percentage.
