Madhya Pradesh Department of Higher Education has released the admission schedule for 2026-27 academic session. UG registration begins May 1-15, 2026. PG registration starts May 2-15, 2026.

The Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh has released the detailed admission schedule for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs for the 2026-27 academic session. The entire admission process will be conducted online through the official portal at epravesh.highereducation.mp.gov.in, mobile app, or designated kiosk centres. UG course registrations for programs such as BA, BCom, and BSc will begin on May 1 and continue till May 15, 2026. PG registrations for MA, MCom, and MSc courses will start on May 2 and continue till May 15, 2026. The admission process will be conducted in multiple rounds including first, second, and college-level counselling (CLC) rounds.
The schedule covers admissions to government, aided, and private colleges across Madhya Pradesh. The admission process also includes integrated law programmes such as BA LLB and BCom LLB. Teaching courses including BEd, MEd, BPEd, and MPEd will follow a similar two-round structure. Candidates are advised to regularly check the admission portal for updates and ensure timely completion of all steps in the process. First Round Admission Process for UG/PG Courses
For the first round of UG admissions, document verification will be held from May 2 to May 16, 2026. The first merit list for UG courses will be released on May 20, 2026. Selected candidates will be required to complete fee payment between May 20 and May 26, 2026. For PG courses, document verification will take place from May 4 to May 16, 2026, with the first merit list scheduled for May 21, 2026 and fee submission from May 21 to May 26, 2026.
Candidates must ensure they have all required documents ready before the document verification period begins. The merit list will be prepared based on academic performance and entrance examination scores as applicable. Candidates who fail to pay fees within the specified window may lose their seat allocation. The first round is crucial as it determines the initial seat allotment for most candidates seeking admission to MP colleges.
Second Round Admission Process for UG/PG Courses
The second round of admissions for both UG and PG courses will begin with registration from May 28 to June 3, 2026. Document verification for the second round will be conducted from May 29 to June 4, 2026. The merit lists will be released on June 7, 2026 for UG and June 8, 2026 for PG courses. Fee payment windows for the second round will extend till June 13, 2026 for both UG and PG candidates.
The second round provides an opportunity for candidates who were not allocated seats in the first round or wish to change their college/program choice. Candidates can participate in the second round by registering again during the specified period. The process remains the same as the first round with document verification, merit list release, and fee payment. Candidates should ensure they complete all formalities within the specified timelines to secure their seats.

Teaching Courses (BEd/MEd/BPEd/MPEd) Admission Schedule
Admissions for professional teaching courses such as BEd, MEd, BPEd, and MPEd will also follow a similar two-round structure. For the first round, registration will be open from May 2 to May 14, 2026. Document verification will be conducted from May 4 to May 15, 2026. Seat allotment for teaching courses will be announced on May 20, 2026, with fee payment till May 25, 2026.
The second round for teaching courses will be conducted between May 28 and June 13, 2026. Registration for the second round will be from May 28 to June 3, 2026. Document verification will take place from May 29 to June 4, 2026. Merit list for the second round will be released on June 9, 2026, with fee payment till June 13, 2026. Teaching courses follow the same online registration process as other UG/PG programs.
How to Register for MP College Admission 2026-27?
- Visit the official portal at epravesh.highereducation.mp.gov.in on your web browser.
- Click on "New Registration" or "Register" to create a new account.
- Fill in your personal details including name, email, and mobile number.
- Create a secure password for your account.
- Verify your email address through the verification link sent to your registered email.
- Log in to your account using your credentials.
- Fill in your academic qualifications and examination scores.
- Select your preferred colleges and programs in order of preference.
- Upload required documents including photograph, signature, and academic certificates.
- Review all information carefully before final submission.
- Submit your registration before the specified deadline.
- Save your registration number and password for future reference.
Candidates wishing to change subjects for UG or PG programmes will have to participate in walk-in interviews, which began on April 27, 2026.
