Manipur Directorate of Medical Education opens online registrations for Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for B.Sc Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Healthcare, ANM, and M.Sc Nursing courses. Application window runs from May 12 to May 25, 2026.

Manipur's Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has announced entrance examinations for admission to B.Sc Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Healthcare, ANM, and M.Sc Nursing courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be held on June 7, 2026, across three examination cities: Imphal, Senapati, and Churachandpur.
The entrance examinations will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. The CEE for B.Sc Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Healthcare courses will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon, while the ANM and M.Sc Nursing entrance examinations will be conducted from 2 PM to 4 PM.
The application fee for B.Sc Nursing courses is Rs. 1,500 for General category candidates and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST candidates. For Pharmacy and Allied Healthcare courses, applicants are required to pay Rs. 1,500, while SC/ST candidates need to pay Rs. 1,000.
Candidates applying for M.Sc Nursing courses must pay an application fee of Rs. 2,900, whereas SC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 2,500. For the ANM course, the application fee is Rs. 300 for General category candidates and Rs. 200 for SC/ST applicants.

Candidates applying for B.Sc Nursing must have passed Class 10+2 (Science) examination from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), with English as a compulsory subject at 40% marks. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate is 40% in PCB with English pass. For admission to RIPANS, Aizawl, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in PCB with English at 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
Age eligibility for B.Sc Nursing is 17-35 years as on December 31, 2026. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for PwD (Persons with Disability) candidates. Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before submitting their application.

For Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses at RIPANS, Aizawl, candidates must have passed 10+2 (Science) with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), with English at 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates. For other institutes, 10+2 (Science) with PCB or PCM and English as one subject is required.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS), Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (B.MRIT), and Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics with 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Minimum age for all allied healthcare courses is 17 years as on December 31, 2026.
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) course is exclusively for female candidates who have passed 10+2 from any stream from a recognized institute. Age eligibility for ANM is 17-35 years as on December 31, 2026. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for this course.
M.Sc Nursing candidates must hold a B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Honours Nursing degree from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks for General/OBC category and 50% for ST/SC candidates. Candidates must be registered nurses and registered midwives with any State Nursing Council with minimum one year of work experience in a recognized institute.
How to Apply for Manipur DME CEE 2026?
- Eligible candidates must apply online through the dedicated portal at manipurmc.mn.gov.in from May 12 to May 25, 2026.
- The application link is also available on the official website manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in.
- Candidates must carefully fill the online application form after reading all instructions for filling the form.
- Candidates should ensure they provide accurate mobile numbers and email IDs, as the Directorate will communicate all updates through SMS and email only.
- Applications submitted online cannot be withdrawn after final submission.
Manipur DME CEE 2026 Admit Card Download and Exam Preparation
Admit cards for all entrance examinations will be available for download from May 30 to June 5, 2026, through the official online portal. Candidates must download their admit cards using their application number and date of birth. It is mandatory to preserve at least one copy of the admit card for future reference.

Application fees are non-refundable and will not be carried forward to future examinations. Candidates must ensure fee payment is supported by a confirmation page generated after successful payment.

Manipur DME CEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus Overview
The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for B.Sc Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Healthcare courses consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on Class XI and XII Science standard syllabus. The exam includes 20 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge, with 20 additional questions from Biology (for Nursing, BMLS, B.MRIT, BPT) or Mathematics (for Pharmacy and B.Optometry).
The ANM entrance examination consists of 50 questions (25 from English and 25 from General Knowledge) with a total of 100 marks. The M.Sc Nursing entrance exam has 100 MCQs covering Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Child Health Nursing. All examinations are of 2 hours duration.
What’s Next for Students
After the entrance examination, the Directorate will announce the results and merit lists on the official website. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling sessions where they must bring all required documents and certificates for verification. For M.Sc Nursing sponsored category candidates, it is mandatory to bring NOC (No Objection Certificate) and sponsorship certificates from the Government of Manipur or any state government undertaking.
Candidates should regularly monitor the official website and their registered email and mobile number for all updates regarding result declaration, merit list publication, and counselling schedule.
