SASTRA BTech Admission 2026 Round 5 Allotment Result Out at sastra.edu; Check Last Date for Fee Payment

The Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA) Deemed University has released the BTech Admission 2026 Round 5 seat allotment result on the official website at sastra.edu. Allotted candidates must pay the tuition fee online by 9:00 AM on July 10, 2026. The fee payment window is now open on the SASTRA admissions portal.

Round 5 was opened after the completion of the four main counselling rounds held between June 8 and July 2, 2026. This round covers merged stream allotment for sliding requests and candidates who were not allotted earlier. Choice submission for Round 5 closed on July 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The allotment result followed on July 6, 2026 by 9:00 PM.

How to Check the SASTRA Round 5 Allotment Result?

The allotment result is available on the SASTRA admissions portal. Candidates need their User ID and password to log in. The steps are simple and can be completed in a few minutes.

• Visit the official website at sastra.edu.
• Open the BTech Admissions 2026 section.
• Click on the Round 5 allotment login link.
• Enter your User ID and password.
• View the allotted branch on your dashboard.
• Download the allotment letter for your records.

How to Pay the Tuition Fee Online?

Fee payment must be completed within the notified window. Candidates who miss the deadline may lose their allotted seat. SASTRA has confirmed that no extension will be granted, as sliding rounds follow this stage.

The tuition fee can be paid online using Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Offline payment modes are not accepted for this round. Candidates must save the payment receipt for future reference.

What Happens After Fee Payment?

Candidates who pay the fee will secure their allotted seat for the 2026-27 academic session. They will also remain eligible for the sliding process against future vacancies. Sliding allows candidates to move to a preferred branch if a seat opens up.

Hostel registration for allotted candidates will open in the second week of July 2026. Hostel accommodation is priced at Rs 16,000 per year, and mess charges are collected monthly at actuals. The Vice-Chancellor's orientation and induction programme will precede the start of classes on August 3, 2026.
