Dibrugarh University MTech 2026 Counselling on July 24 at dibru.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) has released the notice. The Master of Technology (MTech) 2026-27 admission schedule is now out. Round 1 counselling-cum-admission is scheduled on July 24, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online at dibru.ac.in till July 10, 2026.

DUIET is the engineering wing of Dibrugarh University in Assam. It runs BTech and MTech programmes in core and emerging fields. The university has extended the earlier application window for aspirants. This gives GATE-qualified candidates more time to complete their forms.

The counselling covers all MTech specializations offered at DUIET. Candidates must hold a BE or BTech degree with 60% marks. A valid GATE score is required for GATE-based admissions. Non-GATE candidates may appear for an entrance test at DUIET.

What Happens on the Counselling Day?

The July 24 counselling combines document verification, seat allotment, and admission. Candidates must reach DUIET with all original documents on the same day. Selected students pay the admission fee to lock their seat. Absence on the counselling day may lead to loss of the seat.
