The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has provided important instructions for candidates participating in the first round of PGCET 2025 counselling.

The government-issued seat matrix for 2025 will be available on the KEA website, and allotment will be conducted based on the Roster System, merit or rank, and the priority of options entered by candidates.

Aspirants are advised to prepare a list of preferred colleges and courses in advance, as multiple options across eligible disciplines such as MBA and MCA can be entered in the same form.

To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the general category and 45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates.

For KEA PGCET 2025 only candidates of Karnataka origin are eligible for reservation, and having a merit rank alone does not guarantee a seat.

Admissions will follow rules set by AICTE, VTU, KEA, COA, and the concerned universities, and KEA reserves the right to withdraw any admission that does not meet the eligibility criteria.

For ME/M.Tech courses, candidates are required to check the equivalence list published on the KEA website before entering their options.

Candidates should note that no individual intimation will be sent regarding schedules or allotments, and regular visits to the KEA website are essential to stay updated.

After the first round allotment, candidates must pay fees and download the confirmation slip if allotted Choice-1 seats. Download the full KEA notification from the direct link given below;
