Kakatiya University PhD Science Admission 2024-25 Open; Apply by January 4

Kakatiya University has opened admission for PhD programs under the Faculty of Science for the July and December 2024 sessions. Admissions will be based on the NET/GATE/GPAT or similar National-Level Test scores.

Kakatiya University PhD Science 2024-25 Admission Process

• Download the prescribed application form from the KU Website or Office of the Dean, Faculty of Sciences, KU.
• The filled-in application form, along with the necessary documents, a comprehensive Research Proposal, and the fee receipt, must be submitted to the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Sciences, KU Campus, Warangal.
• The registration fee (nonrefundable) of INR 1,200 for OC/BC candidates, and INR 800 for SC/ST/PHC candidates has to be submitted into the "Registrar Income Account", through NEFT/RTGS or Online NET Banking only.

Kakatiya University PhD Science 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

• Fellowship holders (UGC-NET/CSIR NET/CEED/DBT/ NFPWD/DST-INSPIRE OR FIP/QIP teacher Fellowships etc.
• NET/GATE/GPAT or similar national-level test scores.
• Candidates of the above criteria must have fulfilled the following in their academic career:
  • 1-year master's degree after a 4-year bachelor's degree or a 2-year master's degree after a 3-year bachelor's degree program with at least 50% marks.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks.
  • M.Phil with at least 55% marks.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks will be given for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Differently-Abled, and other categories (for every educational criterion).

Vacancies are available in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology subjects for admissions to PhD programs for 2024-25.
