GLS University Opens Design Admissions 2027-28; Check Last Date to Apply

The Gujarat Law Society (GLS) University has opened admissions for 2027-28. The design admissions are hosted by the GLS Institute of Design (GLSID). The last date to apply is January 21, 2027.

Candidates can apply online at the official website glsuniversity.ac.in. The registration window is live at admission.glsuniversity.ac.in. The entrance exam is called the GLS Design Aptitude Test (GLSID DAT).

Admissions are open for three design programmes at GLSID. The courses are B.Design, Integrated M.Design, and B.Design (Global) (Hons.). All three programmes run on the Ahmedabad campus.

GLSID DAT 2027 Exam Phases

The GLS Design Aptitude Test is held in two phases every year. Phase 1 is conducted in January and Phase 2 is held in April. Candidates can appear in either phase for the 2027-28 session.

The Phase 1 exam dates will be announced on the admission portal soon. Phase 2 registration will open after the first phase concludes. Students may attempt both phases to improve their chances.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

For undergraduate design programmes, candidates must have cleared Class 10+2. The minimum aggregate requirement is 50 per cent from a recognised board. Students appearing for the Class 12 exam in 2027 can also apply.

Final selection is based on the DAT score and a personal interview. Candidates must clear both stages to secure admission at GLSID.

How to Apply for GLSID DAT 2027?

Candidates can register and submit the application form online. The payment is accepted through digital modes. The complete process runs on the GLSID admission portal.

1. Visit the official portal at admission.glsuniversity.ac.in.
2. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Log in and fill the application form with academic details.
4. Upload scanned documents in the required format.
5. Pay the application fee online using net banking, UPI or card.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

GLSID DAT Exam Pattern

The GLSID DAT tests candidates on four main design skills. These are creative aptitude, drawing ability, design thinking, and visual reasoning. Shortlisted candidates then face a personal interview round.

2. Check your Class 12 aggregate against the 50 per cent cutoff.
3. Keep scanned marksheets, photograph and ID proof ready to upload.
