How to Complete Pre-Enrolment and Fee Payment at jnuee.jnu.ac.in?

Follow the steps below to lock your allotted seat in time.

  • Visit the JNU admission portal at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
  • Log in with your CUET UG 2026 application ID and password.
  • Open the List-1 result page and check your allotment.
  • Fill the pre-enrolment registration form with accurate details.
  • Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the pre-enrolment fee online through the payment gateway.
  • Submit the form and save the payment confirmation receipt.

What Happens If You Miss the August 6 Deadline?

Candidates who miss the deadline lose their allotted seat under List-1. The seat is then passed to the next eligible candidate in line. Missed candidates cannot claim the current allotment after the cut-off time.

However, unfilled seats move to the next round of allotment. Such candidates may still be considered in subsequent merit lists. Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

Why This Matters

JNU UG intake has been CUET-based since 2022, and seat matrices are tight across BA (Hons) language and BSc streams. Missing the fee-payment window is the most common reason candidates lose an offered seat in the first round.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to jnuee.jnu.ac.in with your CUET UG 2026 credentials.
  • Check your name on the UG List-1 result page.
  • Keep scanned copies of CUET scorecard and Class 12 marksheet.
  • Complete pre-enrolment registration and fee payment before the deadline.
  • Download and save the pre-enrolment confirmation receipt for records.
Keep an Eye On

JNU is expected to release List-2 for vacant UG and COP seats soon after August 6. Track jnuee.jnu.ac.in daily for the next merit list, cut-offs and physical verification schedule.
