The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released a notification for a stray round of physical counselling for upgradation and allotment of seats in both 10th-based and 12th-based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the 2024-25 academic year. Reporting and Registration for JKBOPEE Stray Round Paramedical Admissions

Eligible candidates are required to report to the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on their scheduled counselling date.

Required Documents for JKBOPEE Stray Round Paramedical Courses 

Candidates must bring the following original documents. Failing to present any required document will result in disqualification from the counselling session:

• For 12th-Based Courses:

  • Domicile Certificate

  • 12th Marks Card

  • Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)

  • Date of Birth Certificate (Diploma or 10th Class Marks Card)

• For 10th-Based Courses:

  • Domicile Certificate

  • 10th Marks Card

JKBOPEE Stray Round Paramedical Courses Counselling Fee

First-time attendees must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 1,000 via POS machines at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar. Payment can be made through debit or credit cards. Candidates who do not pay this fee will be unable to participate.

JKBOPEE Stray Round Paramedical Courses Eligibility Criteria

• Already Allotted Candidates: Candidates who have secured and joined a seat in their chosen institution do not need to attend.

• Upgradation: Candidates allotted a seat in the first round who seek upgradation may participate, provided they bring a receipt of the fees paid at the initially allotted institution.

• Second/Mop-Up Round Candidates: Candidates who have already been upgraded in the second or mop-up round are ineligible.

• Missed Previous Rounds: Candidates who missed previous rounds due to unavoidable circumstances or opted for “C.N.A.” / “S.N.A.” can participate in the stray round.

JKBOPEE Stray Round Paramedical Courses Reserved and Open Merit Seats

Counselling will prioritize horizontal and reserved category seats that remain unfilled from the mop-up round. In cases where reserved seats remain unfilled due to a lack of eligible candidates, these seats will be converted to Open Merit (O.M.) as per Section 9(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.

Additional Considerations

• Seat Matrix: The updated seat matrix will be uploaded on the JKBOPEE website before the counselling date. Candidates are advised to review it in advance.

• Stay On-Site: Candidates are strongly advised not to leave the BOPEE office after securing a seat. In cases where a seat of choice becomes available, they may immediately claim it if they are present.
