NTA has officially released the JEE Mains 2026 final answer key PDF after evaluating all objections submitted against the provisional key. This final version is used to calculate candidates’ scores. It also highlights questions that have been removed from evaluation. In the April session, 2 questions have been dropped. Students who attempted these questions will be awarded full marks. This decision can influence the final scores as well as the rank list.

NTA Confirms No Change in JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the final answer key for JEE (Main) April 2026 remains unchanged after reviewing student concerns raised on social media. Two questions-one from Chemistry (April 8, Shift 2) and one from Physics (April 2, Shift 2)-were examined with subject experts, who confirmed that the original answers are correct. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards using their login credentials, and the result will also indicate their eligibility for the next stage. Those who meet the cutoff will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, with the top 2.5 lakh candidates across all categories qualifying for the exam, which serves as the gateway to admission in IITs. Additionally, qualified candidates can participate in JoSAA counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions.
