Jadavpur University PhD (Sc.) Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have at least 2 years of M.Sc. or equivalent degree from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates without NET / SET / GATE / ICMR-NET / DBT-NET / AYUSH-NET / ICAR-NET must qualify for the WRET examination conducted by Jadavpur University.

• One passport-size photograph.
• Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates (from Madhyamik onwards).
• Admit card/certificate of Madhyamik for age verification.
• SC/ST/PD/OBC-A/OBC-B Certificate (if applicable).
• NET/SET/GATE/ICMR-NET/DBT-NET/AYUSH-NET/ICAR-NET certificates (if applicable).
• Receipt of online payment of application fee.
• Filled-in forwarding form signed by the Supervisor/Director/HOD.
• NOC for the employed candidates

Candidates have to apply by downloading the application form available from the website (jadavpuruniversity.in). Application fee of INR 500 per subject should be paid online via the SBI Collect system (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking).

The filled-in application form has to be submitted to the Office of Dean & Secretary, PhD Cell, Faculty of Science, TEQIP Building (Ground Floor), Jadavpur University along with the required documents.
