IITG PhD Admission Dates

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has released the results for admission into the PhD Programme in the Department of Design for December 2024. Orientation of the qualifying candidates will be conducted on January 1, 2025. The course fee of the IITG PhD program is INR 58,150 for general category candidates.

  • The legitimate applications will be processed discipline- and/or specialty-wise by the relevant Department, School, or Center.
  • By establishing additional shortlisting criteria based on GATE/NET/CEED performance, grades/marks in the qualifying degree exam, and/or other educational credentials beginning in Class 10, the Institute retains the right to consider a small number of qualified candidates for the selection process.
  • The performance of candidates in their prior coursework, as well as in the written exam and/or interview held by the relevant Department, School, or Center, will determine their selection for PhD programs.
