IIT Ropar M.Tech Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by April 15 @iitrpr.ac.in

IIT Ropar has invited applications for its M.Tech programs for the academic year 2026-27. Interested candidates can apply for various specializations across departments, including Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, and Materials Engineering, as well as the Center of Drones and Autonomous Systems.

To be eligible, candidates need a B.Tech/B.E. or M.Sc. in a relevant field with a valid GATE score. IIT graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or above (7.5 for SC/ST) are exempt from GATE. Selection is primarily based on GATE performance. IIT Ropar M.Tech application fee is ₹500 for GEN/OBC/EWS and ₹250 for SC/ST/PWD.

First, register on the COAP 2026 portal. Then, fill out the online application at the IIT Ropar website and pay the fee via SB Collect.
