IIT Ropar Hostel Fee Structure 2024 Released for Second Semester

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Ropar) has released the hostel fee structure for second semester BTech, MTech, MSc and PhD students of the academic year 2023-24. Check the complete fee structure in this article below!

Following the notification, candidates who are currently in the second semester of their BTech program are required to pay a fee of INR 19, 500 for IIT Ropar hostel. Additionally, those who are in the second year of MTech, PhD and MSc programs will have to pay a hostel fee of INR 25,500.

For those who have enrolled in IIT Ropar this semester, the hostel fee is INR 36,500. The hostel setup cost is INR 3,000, the mess security deposit is INR 6,000 (refundable), the mess entrance fee (one-time payment) is INR 5,000, and the mess expenses are INR 22,500.

How to Pay the IIT Ropar Hostel Fee?

Students can make the payment to IIT Ropar Hostel through SBI Collect or demand draft. Follow the steps mentioned below to pay the hostel fee through SBI Collect:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SB Collect at onlinesbi.com, onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm.

Step 2: Click on the SB Collect and Select Educational Institute IIT Ropar.

Step 3: Select the option for the payment category and pay the required fee.

Step 4: Submit the printout of the receipt at the time of hostel accommodation and attach the same in the link provided.

To pay the hostel fee through demand draft, you can make the payment in favour of ‘the director IIT Ropar hostel account. Only after the fee deposit hostel accommodations will be assigned. Students must submit the transaction slip to the authority to complete the process. If the transaction slip is not submitted, it will be assumed that the fees were not paid.
