IIT Madras, IIM Ahmedabad Incubated Startup To Train One Lakh Tamil Nadu  Engineering Students

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad-incubated company GUVI have launched an initiative to offer training to one lakh engineering students of Tamil Nadu through a series of hackathons conducted in online and offline mode for over three months.

The training will be provided through the project titled “Naan Mudhalvan-Tamil Nadu Coders Premier League”, operated by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Anna University, and the Government of Tamil Nadu. 

Through this initiative of IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad incubated company GUVI, students will receive entirely free instruction to upgrade their coding skills and free access to premium upskilling courses from GUVI as a part of the training program.

Participants who meet the requirements for level 1 will be mentored by professionals from leading product businesses, ensuring high-quality instruction and more opportunities. The top-performing teams will get a chance to demonstrate their aptitude for technology and programming.

In addition, the project will expose learners to future employers in the tech sector. Along with offering participants the chance to compete and learn, the program also offers participants the opportunity to win cash prizes and internship chances.

Participants will work to solve problems and provide innovative tech solutions to the various departments of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Interested engineering college students who wish to participate in the training program can register free of cost at the official website.

Informing about this initiative, Mr. Arun Prakash M, Founder, and CEO, of GUVI, said, "The NM-TNcpl not only offers a competitive environment for coders but also provides numerous opportunities, including cash prizes worth INR 2 lakhs and internships for the top-performing teams.
