IIMA is Accepting Applications for the 44th Faculty Development Program; Apply by February 16

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad organizes a Faculty Development Programme aimed at the professional development of faculty members of management education institutions. The program provides expert training in general management principles, pedagogical techniques (including case methods), better research methods, and advanced topics in specialized areas. 

The IIMA FDP is for management educators, scholars, and practitioners in management schools, universities, colleges, and professional institutions. Those engaged in teaching at staff training colleges, industrial organization training centers, and governmental institutes focused on management and related subjects are also encouraged to apply for FDP Admission 2024.

The FDP provides two courses: FDP in Pedagogy and Research Methods and FDP in General Management. Candidates can apply for any one of the two courses. 

FDP in Pedagogy and Research Methods module consists of the following courses:

• Case Method in Management Education 
• Communication for Management Teachers 
• Crafting and Publication of Research 
• Psychometrics and Structural Equation Modeling 
• Qualitative Research Methods 
• Statistical Data Analysis

FDP in General Management consists of the following courses:

• Economic Environment and Policy 
• Fundamentals of Management Accounting 
• Human Resource Management 
• Marketing Management 
• Operations Management 
• Spreadsheets for Decision-Making 
• Strategy Formulation and Implementation 
• Understanding of Behaviour

IIMA FDP Course Details

Steps to Apply for IIMA FDP 

Interested candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the IIMA FDP program:

Step 1: Visit the official link at; iima.ac.in/academics/FDP to get the online application form. Click on Apply Now.

Step 2: In the online application form, candidates must specify their preference for the two modules (i.e., Certification Option A or B). 

Step 3:  Applicants must fill out ‘Part A’ of the application form online and submit the completed form before the application deadline specified for the chosen certification option. 

Step 4: ‘Part B’ of the form must be completed by the sponsoring authority responsible for granting the applicant leave for his/her career development. 

Step 5: Submit the application.
