IIM Rohtak PGP Batch 2023 Includes 78% Females and Students from 24 States; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIM Rohtak has successfully organised the welcome ceremony for its 14th batch of its Post Graduate Program (PGP) on July 01 and July 02, 2023. The new batch includes 78% female candidates and students from 24 states and union territories (UTs) of India.

As per IIM Rohtak, the 14th batch of the PGP program has students from around the country and diverse backgrounds. Some of the students who joined the program have won various awards in academics and sports such as national-level medals in swimming and karate.

Welcoming the IIM Rohtak's PGP program batch, the institute shared that the number of female candidates for this session has increased from last year, which was 69%. The event was attended by the Chairperson of IIM Rohtak, Deeraj Sharma and other senior officials.

In addition to this, Kamal Kishore, Member Secretary of the National Disaster Management Authority; Sameer, International lyricist and Guinness World Record and Syed Ata Hasnain who received multiple awards from PVSM, UVSM and UYSM were also present at the ceremony.

On the first day of the induction ceremony, Kishore spoke on “rooted cosmopolitanism” and shared his ideas on the role of management with examples. He shared, “There is a need to go beyond corporate social responsibility and create socially responsible corporate”.

Sameer said,” The seeds of current success are sown in the habits of childhood”. After his speech, Syed Ata Hasnain explained the topic of national security and how it encompasses poverty alleviation, energy security, technological excellence, and food security.

On day 2, panellists discussed "Understanding Consumption Behavior in Achieving a $5 Trillion Economy” and the importance of the rule of law in fostering sustained economic growth. Discussions were also held on the topic of "Leadership Lessons from the Military”.
