IIM Raipur Hosts Its 12th Graduation Ceremony,

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur has conducted its 12th convocation ceremony, where a total of 443 students received their degrees.

During the IIM Raipur convocation ceremony, around 233 Postgraduates, 21 PGPMWE Graduates, 172 Graduates of the Executive Fellow Programmes in Management, and 17 Graduates of Student Exchange Programmes received their degrees and medals.

The graduation ceremony honoured the accomplishments of students who had finished their degree programmes and were now prepared to find employment.

The students received gold medals for their academic achievement at IIM Raipur's convocation ceremony. Aditi Joshi and Karambelkar were among the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students to receive the BOG Chairperson's Gold Medal.

The director's gold medal was awarded to Shweta Rahul, the PGP chairperson's medal was awarded to Ayush Kumar, and the best overall performance medal was awarded to Harshit Jain. Shiwesh Kumar won the BOG Chairperson's Gold award, Richa Kumari received the Director's Gold Medal, and Advitya Patni received the PGP Chairperson's award among the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) students for their academic achievement. Ashish Kumar Chauhan, managing director and chief executive officer of the National Stock Exchange of India, was the chief guest, while Shrimati Shyamala Gopinath, chair of the IIM Raipur Board of Governors, presided.

IIM Raipur director Professor Ram Kumar Kakani encouraged graduates to pursue their aspirations and have a good effect on their communities in his welcoming speech.

As they proceeded, Shyamala Gopinath counselled the graduates to develop a strong work ethic. She exhorted the students to help foster a supportive and productive workplace where diversity of thinking, ideas, and viewpoints is valued and accepted.

Further, she also urged the youngsters to pursue their education with commitment, perseverance, and sincerity.
